Understanding the 99.97% claim
The percentage describes capture or removal performance under a specific test method. It does not mean 99.97% of every pollutant in a real home disappears immediately.
Room leakage, open doors, new pollution sources, fan speed and purifier placement affect real-world concentration.
Room coverage requires air-change context
The recommended square footage is the most useful number because it is tied to about 4.8 air changes per hour, or one cleaning cycle every 12.5 minutes.
The much larger “in one hour” figure represents fewer air changes. It can be useful for general circulation but should not be interpreted as equivalent performance in a room five times larger.
CADR matters more than maximum square footage
Clean Air Delivery Rate combines airflow and particle removal. Smoke CADR is especially helpful when comparing performance for fine particles.
A purifier with high CADR can remove newly generated particles faster, provided it is placed with unobstructed intake and outlet clearance.
Blue Pure 211i Max versus Classic Pro
The 211i Max has higher listed dust and smoke CADR, costs less and weighs about half as much. It is the stronger value for most large rooms.
Classic Pro adds steel construction, HINS Pure filter treatment, ECO mode, two filters and a five-year registered warranty. Its premium is mainly about build, specialized features and warranty rather than raw CADR superiority.
211i Max versus Mini Max
The 211i Max is designed for one large room and includes sensors, Auto mode, Wi-Fi and smart-home support.
The Mini Max bundle is better when two very small rooms need independent filtration. Two small units do not automatically equal one large purifier because their airflow is divided between separate locations.
ComfortPure versus a standard purifier
ComfortPure can replace a purifier, personal fan and supplemental heater in one location. This reduces appliance clutter.

Cooling is not air conditioning

Particle sensors do not detect every pollutant

Activated carbon and odor removal
Standard Particle & Carbon filters contain carbon for light household odors. Strong smoke, volatile organic compounds and persistent cooking gases can require more carbon mass or source removal.
SmokeBlock filters increase carbon compared with the standard filter but also cost more.
AllergenBlock filter positioning
